Writing a Letter to my Brother

WALT: write a letter

Field Hospital, Gallipoli
1 April 1915

Dear Brother,

I am now at the Field Hospital. I hardly understand why did the soldier got wounded from the war. Some soldiers are in pain but one of them are strong. Your poor friends are really injured. I tried my best to help them but I can’t do anything more. Brother, on the month of April 1915 Peak Camp was about to start. In the hospital tent your friends are really scared and nervous about the injections because the injections are really powerful and dangerous.

On the day before the War some soldiers always gets dirty work because that’s there job. Bleeding outside the field wasn't difficult because one of the soldiers from the other countries always wants to compete with the other soldiers.

The soldiers said that they want to beat the other country for killing their partners and that was there payback time and I don't want them to get killed because I want them to survive the war and you're the one that can save your soldier friends. For last you are my older brother you can save them, you were also been trained about nursing.

Your Loving Sister, Megan

Trenches - Working in a Group

WALT: research and write in our own words

We were learning to make trenches. Our model was to make a trench. In my group I worked with Jeleina and Serena. Making the trench wasn't difficult because it was easy and it’s not complicated. My whole group drew a plan of our trench. We used playdough for making trench. Here are the things that we done for our trench.
Jeleina was painting the fence and the gun.
Serena was also painting the sandbags.
Megan was the last person to paint the sandbags. This was a big challenging for me and my group.
