Today it was a amazing day because room 11 gets to take a photo of the brand new play house but the playhouse is for the junior kids. When room 11 was taking a photo of the helper's the helper's were busy doing their jobs.  All the helper's done a pretty good job. The helper's provided sausage sizzle, children toys and also board games. The junior kids can't wait to play on the new play house.

Christmas - Area

In this game it's all about Christmas Tables. Christmas tables is about area. In this area I have to figure out which answer is right and which answer is wrong. I have to pick either Green or Red. But when I was playing this game I felt really excited. Playing this area game is very interesting because it always help's me for my learning and my attentions, learning my area's is interesting.

In this painting it's all about my family so I decided to name my painting A flower family because all the caring that our parents and family done for us.

In this game I have learnt all about Christmas games. This game is more like playing other sorts of games. In this game it was very easy but I need to read carefully because I might get my answers wrong but when I got my 2 answers wrong my bones were about to brake because I only have 2 answers which are wrong. Christmas games are very unique because when it's Christmas time everything will be changed and everyone will celebrate christmas and playing a lot of christmas games.

In this game I have to put every single answer in each box because I chose times table because it’s easy for me and it’s not hard to answer it, but some of them were difficult and complicated. Next time I play this game I would like to play this some day.

In this game you have to shoot the right answer because you have to find out the answer for 30. As the game begins you need to find the answer very quickly or other wise you will get hit from one of those rocks. I used my head to figure out the answer for 30 but when I clicked on

3x10 I got the answer right and I got to go on the next level.

I got a 2P on my reading e-asttle results. I knew that I need more practise. I also knew that reading is so important to my learning. Next time I do my e-asttle reading I will try my best to get all my answers correct.

How to make a cup of tea

Many people enjoy drinking tea. Tea is enjoyed by families and elderly people.

The ingredients should be hot boiling water, tea bag, teaspoon, sugar, cup and milk. Place these items on the bench or table.

First boil the hot water. Then add the tea bag into a tea cup. Pour the hot water into the cup then leave the tea bag for few minutes so it can brew. After that remove the tea bag. Add a teaspoon of sugar and milk into the cup for a personal taste. Stir the tea for a few seconds then it’s time to serve it.

The cup of tea will be served with biscuits and crackers.

Today I have been learning all about times table. Times table is very fun because if I now my fractions I will now how many in a set. I solve this problem by using my fractions. In this game I tried really really hard to get the right answer. But luckily I got the right answer just in time. Next time I will play this game again.

Duffy Books

Today it was Duffy book assembly. A lady named Niva Retimanu came to interview herself in front of the whole school. She came from a place which it’s called Samoan. She was born in Invacago. She was the most interesting person. Niva Retimanu came and said “It’s cool to read, it’s cool to achieve." Niva Retimanu didn't now how to read a single book because she didn't learn a single word in English. She worked as a Samoan radio announcer, she had over 500 books, when she was little her father took her to the library so she can read more words in English. Niva Retimanu was a role modal at our school. Niva Retimanu is the best radio announcer.

A Ripper Rugby is a very simple game.

Two teams Blue team and Red team are needed. An open space is needed to play.. This game is really fun because it’s very interesting. Ripper Rugby needs a rugby ball, a belt and including tags. Ripper Rugby known as the envelope by the states of all countries.

The Ripper Rugby is similar to rugby. is when people tackle another person while they play rugby. When people plays rugby they high tackle people that plays.

Ripper Rugby is the way that people always play at the beach or at home with there brother and sisters. This game is very good for teenages. Teenages loves to play Ripper Rugby.

Being a Ripper Rugby person is the way that young kids likes. Ripper Rugby is good for Rugby boys health. Rugby boys always like playing rugby because it’s a strong game that boys play. Rugby is always strong because it keeps boys strong and taff.

Playing this game ripper rugby is so easy and it keeps boys strong and healthy, always listen to the coach and keep up with the others that plays strong and taffy.

Being on task for ripper rugby is so important because if they pass the ball to their own team they will have to score where the Red team are standing and the Blue team will have to score where the Red team is standing as well.

Outside the stadium,the field will have to be ready in no time because if the field is not ready the ripper rugby teenages will not be able to play rugby on the field.

Stay strong, if the Blue team is showing off to the Red team, the Red team will ignore them by walking away from them and that’s what kids do at school.

Today I been learning all about fractions. Fractions is the most important thing of all because if I don’t now my times table I will not now my fractions. This game is very easy because learning my fractions everyday will be very interesting and very complicated. Next time I would like to play this game again next time. This game is the best.

Today I been learning all about fractions. Fractions is very exciting because if I know my times table I will know how to solve fraction problems easily. In this game I tried my best to get the right answer for 4/12 - but I kept on getting the wrong answer so I tried my best again and I got the right answer. I wish I will play this again.

Cross Country

When it was time for cross country I felt so happy because I get to run with Serena and Serena was way behind that time. Serena felt so sick because she had a sore tummy and I kept on running until I get to the finish line. I hope I will run again next time. Cross country is the best.

Robin William was a famous actor in all comedy show. He was the most talented person. Some of his movies were fantastic and he’s very funny actor. Robin William acts many different kinds of movies, he acts in Mrs Doubt fire, Old Dogs and the Night of the museum.

In Robin Williams movies I’d remembered some of his movies, the movie I still remembered was Mrs Doubt fire. Mrs Doubt fire was very funny because he was dressed up in a old lady costume. His acting son and daughter didn't know that Mrs Doubt fire was there father because they were filming and doing there talking part.Robin William was a American actor he was the most stand up comedian, voice actor and screenwriter. He acts behind every single character like happy feet or other kinds of cartoons. Robin Williams was very popular because he's funny and smart. But I wish he was still alive and I also wish that he could be here watching and reading room 11's site all about him.

Yesterday Morning It was time to share our e-books with rooms 2 and 8. Rooms 2 and 8 were so excited to come because we want them to know all about technology and how to use a net-book. I was really nervous to talk to these kids.

Spending Splurge

I played this game with Serena and Tupou. It’s called Spending Splurge. In this game I had $1,750, we used this money for our air ticket so we can go to Australia. Our return ticket cost $755.This game has taught me a lot of things & I learnt something from this game.This game is really important because while we on vacation we will know how much money we have in our balance.  

Soccer

               

On Thursday the afternoon we had soccer lessons. Our coach Quan was from Spain and he taught us how to control the ball and stopping the ball. Quan taught us many different moves and strategies. Quan showed us how to do shoulder, chest, hand, head, feet and body. The most important thing was to keep our eyes on the ball. Quan the Spanish guy was really awesome that day. We hope that he will come back next year.

Book Choice for Junior Kids

I chose this story because it is suitable for kids that are learning how to read. This book has pictures that can make Junior kids understand about the story, it has easy words and easy pictures. That's why I chose this story because it is suitable for them and they can understand what they reading.

I want to be Millionaire

One day I will like be a Millionaire. If I was homeless I will not have money and a place to live in. Some people are homeless and  some people are rich or Millionaires. I respect people that are homeless. Homeless people always success everything because they are homeless people.  Millionaire thinks that they have lots of money. We need to respect them and give them some money even if they are different from us. Homeless people needs money, food and drinks so they can survive.

I feel such a pain because they don’t have any money or a place to live in.  Homeless people doesn't have a home because they live in places that are not safe for them. They live in public toilets and streets. They sold bubble gums and energy drinks. Those people wants money and they want to be a Millionaire. These homeless people always wondering around looking for money and food as well.

Homeless people are very smart because they always use there head and there brains.

These people don’t go school because their parents always argue everyday and there kids will run away from them.

Some kids runs away from their family because they always fight and argue. The kids from this family has to run away. These kids ran away when they were 3 years old and now they are 22 years old. They made their own life and they will find something that they want.

Jump rope for heart

This is room 11 skipping in GI centre. Our teacher Mrs Ramkolowan taught us how to behave ourselves in Glen Innes wild we go to GI centre. All the parents was so proud of there child. The children was a little bit shy to skip in the front of all people. The people from all places was very excited to see what is happening there in GI centre. Mr Naidoo and Mrs Ramkolowan walked around all people that are seating and standing. All the people from Glen Innes gave hips of money for heart foundation so all the children from hospital will get better. The heart foundation had $230 dollars in the heart foundation bucket. Jump rope for heart is the best thing to do because we can send the money to them.

Dental Presentation

Room 11 and 12 appreciate what you taught us. You're talking was very interesting. Talking about teeth was very important. You taught us many different kinds of teeth and you taught us how to take care of our body and being healthy. We were so happy to have you here. You taught the class about everything that you know. You were right about everything, taking care of our body was very important too. Room 11 and 12 learn’t about our teeth and how to protect it too.

I really thought that the information you had given me that I was interested about was about the teeth’s worst enemy is sugar. It’s because I think I would need to cut down on the sugar. I also saw some really gross photographs of peoples teeth. How it can affect your teeth by smoking drinking alcohol so basically things that are containing sugar.

I found out the people in South Africa they would use nylon string bags to use as floss. That was really fascinating facts to learn about. It’s because in New Zealand we use floss that uses flavour into the floss. I don’t have floss at home but I would like to encourage my mum to buy some.

I told my parents about this facts I had learn’t that Mrs Wallbridge told me. My mum and dad was surprised by my information I told them about. It’s because my parents don’t smoke or drink and they want to learn about things like this. It’s because also it’s new facts to them as well. My parents family also smoke but sometimes they don’t and I learnt something from Mrs Wallbridge.

The reason why mouthguards are important because they always helps us reduce chance of concussion.

Mouthguards protects our jaw joints against injury.

Mouthguards also protects soft tissues from our injury.

Also mouthguards are cushions teeth against impact.

Also mouthguards helps prevent injuries to the jaws and the neck.

Biting down a mouthguard helps keep your jaw in place during the fight. Mouthguard is very important because it helps all the players that are playing all kinds of sports. Sports will always need mouthguard for protection.
