Walt: write a procedure for making………….

Success Criteria: use a verb to begin every  step in the method.

Today, in room 11 we made jam biscuits. Everyone got to make there own biscuit. Each person had to mix the ingredients. In the bowl it had all the ingredients in it. The ingredients that were in the bowl were:

• 125g butter (1/2 cup)
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 cups flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tbsp milk 180

Method:

1. Preheat the oven for 180℃
2. Add the butter into the bowl
3. Pour the butter into the bowl
4. Pour 1/2 cups of sugar on top of the sugar
5. Add the plain flour into the bowl with other ingredients
6. Mix the ingredients one by one until it’s smooth
7. Add 1 egg into the bowl then stir until it’s fine
8. Wash your hands before you put your hands into the ingredients
9. Stir the ingredients with your hands until it gets smoother and smoother
10. Roll up the dough until it’s round
11. Put the dough into the cups which is cupcake holders
12. When the dough is finished put it onto the tray then into the oven for 180℃
13. Wait for 10-15 mins
14. When it’s ready cool it down

Today I have learned all about prepositions. When I played this game I thought that this will be hard but it wasn’t. In this game I only have one or two wrong but next time I play this game I would like to learn more about prepositions.

Today in Maths I had tried the most challenging word problem. In class we had 3 levels. In my maths problem my equation was challenging which is multiplication because it's challenging. Next time I do a maths problem I would like to learn more about hard multiplications facts.

Donald Duck is the most famous character in Mickey Mouse movie. He has a blue and yellow shirt and a black and red bow tie. In Donald Duck movie he is the most funny duck because his voice sounds quacky with words in it. The man said “I don’t understand you so beat it.” Donald dunk is 81 years old and he is celebrating his birthday.

The Most Weird Puffer Fish

According to scientists the puffer fish is one of the 10 most weird and wondrous life forms scientists have discovered a new species with about 100 species. Puffer fish is also known as globefish, swellfish, blowfish and fugu. Puffer fish can only swim for half their normal speeds.

The diet of the puffer fish eats clams, mussels, and shellfish with there strongest beak.

Puffer fish can swim around and they live underwater because it is healthy for their bodies.

Puffer fish is good under water. It keeps them alive because if they were on the land they won’t survive during any season.

These puffer fish is very frightened of things like shark or humpback whale. Humpback Whale is almost huge than other mammals. Puffer fish won’t be able to survive because they are fish. This creature is the most interesting creature that any science can study. Studying about the puffer fish is fun and interesting because when they get frightened they pop up like a balloon.

 

My Culture Art

Last week was Samoan Language Week. In room 11 our teacher greets us in Samoan Language. I know a lot of Samoan Phrases from the Samoan Language Week. In the original picture it didn't look like my Samoan art. This was quite fun for me.
